Singer J Whaley Celebrates New Single Release Party At BB Kings.
Nashville, TN – Up and coming R&B Singer J Whaley performed at the world-famous BB Kings Restaurant and Blues Club this past Saturday. Encore Enterprises presented the official single release party for his new hit “Settle Down”.
Hosting for Whaley was Nashville’s own comedian Brian B-Cov Covington, who performed a set of jokes that kept the crowd warmed up. His familiarity with Nashville, kept the crowd laughing with jokes they could relate too.
When the comedian announced that Whaley would soon be coming to the stage, the audience applauded with excitement. Soon after, sporting a casual look in a blazer and jeans, Whaley introduced himself. With the soul singer was a band that included keyboard, drums, guitar, and a back singer.
The crowd responded well while J Whaley explained that his sound was a mixture of old school and new school. He then opened the show with a soulful rendition of the Al Green classic “Love and Happiness”.
Whaley kept the energy going throughout his show performing songs by Tyrese and off his last album “The Service Station”.
To close the show the singer performed his new single “Settle Down”. The response to his latest song was extremely positive as the audience swayed back and forth to the mellow groove.
J Whaley is a singer who is breaking on the scene with the traditions of old school singers combined with the energy of the new school. His performance at BB Kings proved he is ready for all the success that awaits him.
